Profile and Billing Details
What is stored where
Your profile holds two related but distinct sets of data: who you are (name, email, avatar) and who the invoices are made out to (billing name or company, address, tax identifiers).
Why it has to be right in advance
An invoice is generated with the billing details as they are at that moment, and a PDF that has been issued is a record — it does not update retroactively when you edit your profile.
So fix the details before the next invoice is generated. If an already-issued invoice is wrong, open a ticket and ask for it to be reissued.
Changing your email
The email address is your login and where every notification goes. Change it from the profile and verify the new address — until it is verified, keep an eye on the old inbox.
Password
You can change your password from the profile at any time. Choose something you do not use anywhere else: this account can start, stop and rebuild servers, so it deserves a unique password and, ideally, two-factor authentication on top.
