Coupons and Discounts

Enter the code in the cart before checkout. The total updates immediately, showing the discount as its own line so you can see exactly what came off.

Some promotions are applied for you automatically when they apply to what is in your cart — if you see a discount you did not type in, that is why.

A code is not necessarily valid on everything. It may carry any of these restrictions.

• A validity window, with a start and an end date.
• Specific products or whole product groups — for instance VPS plans only.
• A maximum number of uses overall, or one use per customer.
• First order only, excluding renewals.

Almost always it is one of the limits above: expired, already used, or not applicable to the product in the cart. The error message says which.

If you are convinced the code should work, open a ticket with the code and what you are trying to buy, and we will check it.

Check what the promotion says. Many discounts apply to the first term only, and the service renews at the normal price afterwards — the renewal invoice will show the full amount. Recurring discounts, where they exist, keep applying at each renewal.
