Storage Box
A box of disks in our datacenter, ready for your backups. Reach it over SSH, WebDAV or FTP, keep snapshots, share folders, all at one fixed monthly price.
Starting at 1.99€/mo
Pick a size. That's it.
Every size has every feature. Only the space changes, and the price stays fixed every month.
Included in every Storage Box
- Unlimited traffic
- No minimum term, cancel anytime
- GDPR data processing agreement
- Support included
No hourly billing, no minimum term.
One box, everything a backup needs
Scroll through it: four things every Storage Box does for you.
Plug in with the tools you have
SSH, WebDAV and FTP are open from day one. rsync, restic, rclone or your NAS: point them at the box and go.
- SFTP · SCP · rsync
- WebDAV over HTTPS
- FTP · FTPS
Go back in time
Take snapshots by hand or on a schedule. Something went wrong? Roll the whole box back to how it was. Snapshots are stored inside your box: they use part of its total space.
- Manual snapshots
- Scheduled snapshots
- Full rollback
Share it, folder by folder
Give people, servers or apps their own login, each locked to its own folder. Your main account still sees it all.
- One login per folder
- Same protocols
- Full access for you
A disk fails. Your box doesn't.
Your data sits on a RAID that keeps working through disk failures, in the datacenter you choose.
- Redundant RAID
- Eygelshoven · Amsterdam · Frankfurt

Four ways people use a Storage Box, and the line that starts each one.
Server backups
Nightly copies of your VPS and dedicated servers. rsync sends only what changed, so even big sites back up in minutes.
$ rsync -az --delete /var/www/ <user>@<your-box>:servers/web01/Off-site copy of your NAS
Keep a second copy of your home or office NAS somewhere else. Synology and QNAP back up to the box with their own apps.
Synology Hyper Backup · QNAP Hybrid Backup Sync
Photo and video archive
Move large libraries off your laptop and get them back when you need them. Set up rclone with the box as an SFTP remote.
$ rclone copy ~/Pictures box:photos --progressShared space for a team
A sub-account for every collaborator or client, each in its own folder, reachable from any WebDAV client.
$ curl -u <sub-account> -T brief.pdf https://<your-box>/team/Works with the tools you trust
Anything that speaks SFTP, WebDAV or FTP can use a Storage Box.
